					<description>paying a host to serve your site isn't exactly 'doing it on your own'. surpass can go down too. maybe you should run your own server from your room. when it goes down, you can call on yourself to get it back up!</description>

					<description>You are right that hosting one's own deal is better. I tried that for a year, but I was not writing enough to justify the expense. Heck, I didn't even make all the templates I wanted to. I enjoy Blogspot, so one bad night is OK with me... (plus I will actually go to bed on time tonight).

Though, pathetically, I am getting my blog fix by searching for bloggers commenting on our outage. I'm quite the dork.</description>
